That’s the only word I can think of when I’m describing what happened on THE SPRING CLEAN UP TOUR with Dj Dopey, Tassnata and myself.
We definitely had a blast in West Coast. Whistler is always a party (shout out to Telusfest). Van city was cold…but still as beautiful as ever. The Rockies were absolutely gorgeous. The Okanagan Valley was dope and Calgary is always poppin. Shout out to Red Deer, Vernon and Kelowna, the blank spots in my memory probably means that I had a REEEALLY good time.
I love being on the road seeing my fans and making new fans on the way. Music is my passion and performing feels like my purpose. Everytime I get on stage I’m home no matter where I am in the world.
So enjoy the pics by Lee Watkins he’s a genius with that camera. Iunno how he did it but he managed to captured all the right moments…aaaand the not so right moments too.
lol smh

It appears that the Toronto Raptors are not going to jettison their two most-burdensome contracts in one deft move.
While Hedo Turkoglu is still likely heading to Phoenix, a related deal that would have sent point guard Jose Calderon and forward Reggie Evans to Charlotte for forward Boris Diaw and centre Tyson Chandler appears dead due to hesitation from the Bobcats’ end.
One source with knowledge of the trade said the deal was likely dead, but did not give up hope that it could be revived later on Tuesday.
The deal was first thrown into doubt on Monday afternoon, when multiple sources told the National Post not to expect the deal to go through during the day, odd for such a widely reported trade. On Monday night, Yahoo! Sports reported that Bobcats owner Michael Jordan was having second thoughts about shipping out Chandler, whose US$12.75-million contract expires after this season.
The nixing of the deal comes after Evans thanked fans for his time and Toronto, and Chandler confirmed to Yahoo! that he had been dealt to the Raptors.
Calderon, the only player on the roster to predate Raptors president and general manager Bryan Colangelo’s 2006 arrival to the team, has three years and US$29-million left on his contract. If that end of the deal had gone through, the Raptors would have saved an additional US$4-million in long-term commitments, as Diaw’s contract expires after 2012. However, if it is only the Turkoglu deal that takes place, the Raptors still figure to save more than US$25-million in commitments.
That deal will send Leandro Barbosa to the Raptors, and maybe another contract.
Prior to this deal, Colangelo insisted that he would not hesitate to bring both of his point guards, Jarrett Jack and Jose Calderon, back to Toronto for next season. However, Barbosa’s impending arrival likely changes that.

55-year-old Leicester Bryce Stovell claims he met Gloria IN 1984 in a D.C. area bar and had sexual relations with her on the night they met. He later found out she was 15-years-old at the time … he was 29.
Leicester is now seeking $4 million from both LeBron and his mother — claiming fraud, defamation and misrepresentation.

Teens in Ontario Youth Detention Facility Release Songs Through School Project
Project Voices Young People’s Ideas Through Music
May 27, 2010. Toronto – Teen participants of The Rebirth Project, an arts mentorship program, release two songs (“This is Who We Are” and “Close To The Edge”) exploring their stories leading up to and during their incarceration. Students collaborated with mentor musician Rochester, producer Agile (Nas, Jully Black and Kardinal Offishall) and recording engineer Pro Logic to write, produce and record. The two resulting songs will be serviced through On Blast Digital today to DJ’s across Canada.
The Rebirth Project is a collaboration between youth arts organization The 411 Initiative For Change and Brookside Secondary School, a high school within a youth detention facility in Cobourg, Ontario. The project was funded by the Ontario Arts Council and was formatted as a record label simulation. It ran over 10 weeks during the winter of 2010 as a complement to the school’s music program.

Macleans x Rochester

Macleans.ca article on Rochester’s work with the youth jail Brookside and their young offenders.
>>>
When Toronto-based rapper Rochester performed at the Brookside youth jail in Cobourg, Ont., last year, a small group of inmates were eager to share a performance of their own. Using the facility’s basic recording equipment, they had produced a music video, complete with their own lyrics and dance moves. Struck by their effort, Rochester had an idea: give them professional tools to produce their own songs. “If you have music out there, you’re going to want to play it for people,” says Rochester. “You’ve got something to dream about.”
